Ouch, ouch and ouch!

This is why when you drive a recreational vehicle that you must pay attention to details. Such as: how low is the bridge that you are about to go under? How low is the overhang on the gas station you are about to enter? And in this case, how low is the bar that you will need to fit under in order to proceed? Hopefully, you will never replicate the situation you see here.

  1. 20 some years ago there were still a lot of old gas stations that had low canopies. I've seen a few motorhomes and some high trailer caught under them. My only big scare came up by Lethbridge, Alberta when going under a bridge in a riverside park and the height was in Meters. Had to stop and think about that one.

  2. ALso you have to watch for cement curbs around gas pumps. I have seen many rv's get caught on them when they turn too soon for the back to clear them. That taught me a lesson of another thing to watch for. Carole
