A friend asked me recently if I didn't feel claustrophobic traveling for long periods in my 24-foot motorhome. I said, "No way!" Here's a little video I recorded explaining why I am perfectly content in my pint-sized RV. Please keep in touch with me at Facebook.com/cwoodbury3.
Thanks for sharing that. Sounds like a wonderful life exploring the country.
ReplyDeleteIf it feels like a king-sized bed, it could be 'cause you're sleeping alone!
ReplyDeleteEvrytime I hear the word "Winnebago" I think of a Mr. Schlingleman (spelling). We were told by this man that because we mentioned the Fl. Lemon Law in regard to an extremely squeaky door. That he "could fix our RV for free, however since we did mention the lemon law he would not fix it, at least not for free.
ReplyDeleteFor this reason I do not reocmmend a Winnebago RV of any type.

I agree. We went from a 22' Rialta to a 24' BT Cruiser and never feel claustophobic. It has everything you need and frankly very cozy. We spent 5 weeks in it last year with our dog.
ReplyDeleteClaustrophobic in a 24' motorhome? What do these people want?
ReplyDeleteTwo of us lived for months in a 19-footer, so the new 22' Roadtrek feels like a palace. If you have what you need (essentials primarily) why drag around a lot of empty space?
Go Class B !
Agree with Chuck, I really love my 2006 Itasca Navion which is close to what he has. It has everything one needs to be comfortable and the gas milage is outstanding. I have reached the age and stage that it is time for me to allow someone else to enjoy it as much as I have so if you are interested it is for sale. Find me on Facebook, Alice Coker, Conroe, TX. My dog died and I don't like traveling alone.
ReplyDeleteAlice - don't give up the traveling - get another dog!
ReplyDeleteWe have 170 Roadtrek, perfect for us to get as close to the "back country" as possible. Sleep better in it then in our big bed at home.
